The universal measuring microscope УИМ-21 is designed for linear and angular measurements in rectangular and polar coordinates. The principle of operation is based on the optical sighting method. In the process of measurement, the image of the measured object (detail) is observed in the field of view of the eyepiece. The measurement results are read out using counting microscopes and line scales or in digital form using a digital display unit and a PC.

Universal microscopes are used to measure threaded products, complex profile templates, scales, cams, cones, hob cutters, tap cones, hole diameters, gear wheels, as well as radii and distances between holes in the longitudinal (up to 200mm) and transverse (up to 100mm ) direction in reflected and incident light.

The universal measuring microscope УИМ has undergone a number of measurements and is equipped with micron digital scales and a digital display unit already in the basic configuration, which improves ergonomics and greatly simplifies measurements.
All УИМ measuring microscopes undergo adjustment, alignment in MICROTECH and metrological control in an ISO17025 accredited metrology laboratory.
